Hearing the voices of children and families affected by HIV and AIDS, The Teresa Group provides practical assistance and emotional support through professional staff and trained volunteers.
Working in close association with the HIV and AIDS Comprehensive Care Team at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto and other community agencies, The Teresa Group provides leadership through example, information and innovation.

The Event
The Teresa Group annual Toy Auction has become a flagship celebration for those in the toy industry and even beyond and something that people look forward to every year.
With over 600 guests enjoying an evening filled with a great dinner, amazing silent auction items and special appearances with distinguished past guests, including the likes of Jon Voight, Gerry Dee and Jean Beliveau, this is guaranteed to be the hottest ticket in town!
This year's event which is being held on Thursday Nov. 19th, 2009 will feature the following special guests: The talented 15 year old songstress Nikki Yanofsky, Hockey Hall of Famer Paul Coffey and UFC superstar Matt Serra (see the Guests page for more details).

The Success
Since the inception of the Toy Auction, the event has raised over $1,000,000 for The Teresa Group.
We are proud to say that last year’s Teresa Group Toy Auction raised more than $200,000, allowing The Teresa Group further to expand its programs and services, such as kids' lunch packs, back to school knapsacks and supplies, food vouchers, hats, mittens and warm winter jackets, cozy blankets and new baby items. It has also been able to expand its tutoring program and provide emotional support groups and counseling for a growing number of children and youth.
